Magnode Launches Re-engineered Web Site (October 9, 2000)
Magnode Corporation, an aluminum extruder, today announced it has launched a significantly re-engineered Web site. The new site contains features such as link to the company headquarters for generating quotes, information on the extrusion process and details on Magnode's specialized processes.
"We had a site previously, but the time had come to update it to better meet the needs of our customers today," said Martin Bidwell, Magnode president and chief operating officer. "Our new site gives a lot more information on how extrusion works and why our process is suited for challenging, precise applications such as electronics housings and components."
The site also offers a history of the industrial uses of aluminum and a user-friendly quiz on aluminum designed to promote a better understanding of this versatile metal.
Magnode's new site was designed and programmed by ViewSource Media, a Cincinnati company whose staff has served metal and technology industry leaders such as AK Steel, Xerox and Apple Computer.
