Website Now Linked Directly To Magnode's Sales Department (March 25, 1998)

The Magnode website is now tied directly to the internal network of all three divisions of Magnode Corporation. A few months ago, we transferred our website from an external Internet Service Provider to an internal on-site Internet server that is running Lotus Domino and Notes. Domino gives us the new capability to securely transfer database information back and forth between our Internet server and our internal network. Our first application of this technology can be seen with our newly-developed Request for Sales Information Form found on the Contact Information page. Anyone browsing our website can now request a sales brochure or submit questions to our Sales Department in a fast, efficient manner. How fast? Our Sales Department is notified of your submission within minutes and can read and respond to your request immediately.

The Sales Information Request link is just the beginning! Lotus Domino gives us the opportunity through our website to offer our customers much more in the area of information sharing, feedback, and communication. Possibilities we are exploring include: discussion/newsgroup areas for sharing of ideas, product feedback, and problem resolution; secure login areas for our customers to get up to date information on the status of their orders; and real-time sharing of information with any of our customers who have Lotus Notes.
