Magnode's general fabrication and finishing division is based in Indianapolis, Ind.-about 120 miles west of the Trenton, Ohio, corporate office. Established in 1978, this division employs 125 inviduals and occupies 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space.

This facility is ISO 9002 and QS-9000 certified and specializes in custom precision fabricated and finished aluminum extrusions of all sizes serving many diverse industries.

The fabrication division's capabilities include:

• Precision sawing and mitering
• Punching, piercing, blanking, coining
• Precision machining, drilling, tapping
• Mig, tig and resistance welding
• Bugging, polishing, sanding and deburring
• Etch, bright dip, sulfuric acid anodizing, organic, inorganic and electrolytic coloring
• Assembly

John W. Hurst serves as fabrication manager and Danny R. Brown is finishing manager at this facility. Both report to Anthony R. Walter, vice president of fabrication for the Indianapolis, Ind., and Monroe, Ohio, divisions.
