Magnode's corporate offices as well as the casting and extrusion lines are based in Trenton, Ohio where Magnode's status as a fully integrated extruder begins.
Through state-of-the-art casting equipment Magnode is currently producing more than 55 million pounds a year and up to 14-inch diameter logs (a size uncommon on the open market) within this facility.
Magnode's extrusion division specializes in the manufacture of extraordinary, complex and intricate extrusions ranging in sizes and weights uncommon to most extruders. Within Magnode's 170,000-square-foot, QS-9000 and ISO 9002 certified manufacturing facility you will find a 4,500-ton press, one of the largest in the United States, coupled with a highly automated 2,400-ton press. These provide the flexibility to extrude from 0.375-inch diameter and 0.400 lbs./ft. up to 17-inch diameter and 25 lbs./ft.
Magnode's manufacturing facilities are bolstered by highly qualified personnel serving sales-customer support, engineering-technical services, quality, in-house laboratory and metallurgical testing.
Joseph M. Bidwell, vice president of manufacturing, leads the Trenton
extrusion operation. He is in charge of all extrusion and foundry
manufacturing for Magnode.
